I think it originated in weak-willed men giving into their nagging wives, who wanted to vote. No good ever comes from letting women make decisions. First they started letting them choose their own mates - which was disastrous, since they invariably chose for emotional rather than logical reasons. Then they let them vote. Since that time our political life has been going downhill. Now our politicians are pretty men without the intestinal fortitude to stand up to women or anyone else, balless, emasculated men who cry when confronted by challenges.
Well if you think that women are just lesser than men then there's no argument for/against such a belief system.
That's a very Islamic view but ok.
