The regular dial you would set to local time wherever you are, which you can ‘jump’ as you cross time zones. Useless if you go to Newfoundland as they are on a half hour!  Haha

You can also set a 3rd time zone as the outer 24 hour ring moves using the top crown.
What’s that inner dial flush with the tip of the hour hand? The jump forward will only be useful when traveling east but novel
