I don't like Facebook as a company, i was sad when they bought Oculus.

VR is very cool, but when I tried it, the screen technology still wasn't where it had to be.  You could still see the pixels since they're so close to your eyes, the "screen door effect".

VR is intoxicating, it is one more small step towards The Matrix taking over society.  As I said in another thread, we'll be meeting more and more people online, hanging out more online, dating online.  VR is simply fantasy, an escapism, which is healthy in small doses, no different than television, but if you spend too much time in fantasy it means you're avoiding dealing with reality.
