New Years' Culture
« on: December 20, 2018, 05:08:56 am »

Let's start with what they 'drop' New Years' Eve...

I like the Red Maple Leaf... in Maine ?  And the glowing pineapple ?

What are you doing ?  I'll be in a hot-tub with a big bottle of Veuve Cloquot looking out at Lake Erie...

I'll probably be face down on my floor with a martini glass in one hand and a bottle of akvavit in the other.

I can see a poplar, and when it's daylight, a Blue Jay.  But that's it.

If you always see the same Blue Jay, it's likely dead.  Get a bag.

If the weather is nice we will prolly have friends over......a bonfire in the big firepit.....drinks and food in the quanset.

We are driving to Sask tomorrow - this is my first christmas ever with just my family (such as it is) and I'm already exhausted.  I'll be lucky if I make it to midnight on New Year's  :P

Two glasses of champagne.  No cigarettes.  First puff of legal weed.  That was the only regret.

Great night, though, and Easy even enjoyed it.  (He got formula)
