Tracking your Online Addiction
« on: March 18, 2019, 06:09:54 am »
So, I am definitely addicted to online as are many of you.  The question is: why ?  What is it about this that is addictive ?

I'm going to have to wean down, but luckily this site should be impacted the least.  Here's a table of my sites:

SiteHow Often I VisitWhy
Canadian Political Events1-3 times per day**Best posters, no trolls, interesting posts, long-time associations
MLW1-2 times per day**A couple of good posters still, I help remove troll posts
Facebook (real persona)1-2 times per day**No trolls, real-life friend updates
Facebook (MH persona)1-10 times/day, long sessions**Hate posting, Posting facts against far-right trolls and feeble liberals
Darkweb Site1-2 times per day**interesting info from American web surfer culture

I think I need to quit the MH Facebook.

do you just track it yourself, or have a computer program/app that does it?

Just myself.  And badly.  It's a pernicious addiction.
