2-3 years out if all goes well and maybe a trade or two.  Ingredients are all there.

That would be good. Like to see Minnesota finally win one as well.

Buffalo is a fine team but not a glorious one yet.

The NFL's handling of COVID-19 is interesting.

A Thanksgiving game against contenders Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers was delayed 3 times due to a string of Positive cases. They'll try to play the game tomorrow afternoon. 6 days after when the game was originally scheduled.

At the same time, the middling Denver Broncos were forced to play a game with no NFL QB after all of their QBs either tested positive or were close to a QB that tested positive.  A Practice Squad WR who played QB in Highschool and College was promoted to play QB against the New Orleans Saints with under 24 hours notice. He couldn't meet with coaches either.

The result was what you'd expect. He went 1-9 with two INTs.

As a selfish NFL fan, I am liking NFL games at weird times.

Also Broncos try to play without a QB... lose 31-3

So, they have a guy named Kendall Hinton, who is a receiver but played some quarterback as a college freshman.  It's pretty common for guys who arrive at college as QB to be put into other positions later. Guy is the best athlete at his school so they make him a quarterback, and he gets recruited to a college... but when he gets to college there are 5 other guys with the exact same background and they can't all be quarterback. The coach says "Son, you're not the best quarterback here, but you're an amazing athlete and we'd like to try you at receiver/runningback/safety/etc." So that's Kendall Hinton.

So, he threw 1 completion and 2 interceptions, 1 completion on 9 attempts for 13 yards, total QB rating of 0.00 which is the lowest I've ever heard of.  A great game gets you a QB rating of 120+, decent outing gets you a rating of maybe 90, and a bad day is in the 70s.  If your quarterback got a rating below 70, you probably lost. The worst QB performances I have ever seen got ratings in the low 50s.  A rating of zero is so incredibly bad I think that young Mr Hinton deserves some kind of special recognition.

If there's a bright spot for the Broncos, it's that they wouldn't have beaten the Saints anyway, regardless who was at QB.

Also, although this is supposed to be the non-Tebow NFL thread, I think it needs to be mentioned that the last time an NFL team failed to complete even one pass in a half, it was the Denver Broncos, in 2011, with Tim Tebow at QB!

My computer must not be working.  Says the Jets beat the RAMS ?
I’m really disappointed.  I was hoping they’d go 0-16.  Oh well.

The Bills are looking strong!  Beating the Steelers last week was a statement. I'm assuming receiver Stefon Diggs is the MVP there?

The Cardinals are having a surprisingly good season behind breakout QB Kyler Murray.  From what I have seen Murray is one of those guys in the Lamar Jackson, Michael Vick kind of style where they are so dangerous running the ball that it opens up passing opportunities, and Murray can throw too. Another reason the Cardinals are having a good season is that so many NFC teams are total dog crap right now.

Browns, Dolphins, Colts, and Titans also emerging in the AFC, and in the NFC the Buccaneers are much improved with Old Man Brady at QB.

At the other end of the spectrum, the Patriots suck in the post-Brady era and are already eliminated from the playoffs. The entire NFC East sucks... the division champion will probably have a losing record. Only the lowly Washington Football Team even has a shot at 8 wins. SAD and LOW ENERGY!

A sad day for sport. :(

KC Chiefs’ QB Mahomes is the most exciting thing to happen in the NFL since Doug Flutie.

I generally really don’t care about the NFL, but I don’t miss a Chiefs game.

They're fantastic.  Too far away from here to be rivalry... the Broncos fans are pissed... they are all hoping the Bills beat them... I am thinking they'll meet in the semi-finals but we'll see.

The Browns clinch a playoff spot for the first time since 2002!  They squeaked out a win over the Steelers, but almost Browns'ed it up in the last couple of minutes.  First they gave up a potentially game-tying touchdown, but didn't make the 2-point conversion that would have tied it.  Then, on the ensuing kickoff, one of the Browns bobbled the onside kick attempt and almost coughed it up to the Steelers.  But the Browns prevailed, and go into the playoffs to face... the Steelers.

The Steelers have lost 4 of their last 5 games, after looking like an elite team earlier in the season.   Canadian rookie receiver Chase Claypool has been a standout for the Steelers this season, and was again today. He very big and tall, and has drawn comparisons to former Detroit Lions star Calvin "Megatron" Johnson.  Because of the similarity to Megatron and because he is Canadian, some people have been referring to Claypool as "Mapletron". Which is very lame.

The Buffalo Bills went Olympics on the Dolphins today. It was a must-win game for the Dolphins, and a nothing game for the Bills who rested some players for some or all of the game. But that didn't matter because the Bills went off like a bomb.  Josh Allen's performance this season set new franchise records for most quarterback stats.

The Bills played their 2nd string in the 2nd half... and they still outscored the Dolphins.  The Bills are getting better every game.  They manhandled the Steelers... and since then have been dominant.  If everything goes as expected they will play the Chiefs for the AFC championship and what a game that shall be
