I liked her more than Mary.  I think she may have been the beginning of me liking admiring Jews - although Rhoda as an open Jew on TV was played by a gentile, Valerie Harper.   :o

'Rhoda' had a lot of character, the first non-bland woman I remember watching, and thinking, 'Ya, she's like me!'
And the rest is herstory! Lol

MTM enterprises, which pioneered such shows were about the rebirth of quality writing and TV

No loss there. He managed to turn one of the most prosperous country in Africa into a basket case.

Mugabe helped out himself and his friends, who happened to be black.

Aron Eisenberg, who played the Ferengi Nog on Star Trek: Deep Space 9, died this past weekend at age 50. His short stature was a result of being born with a single kidney, and he received two kidney transplants. The first was at age 17, and the second was a few years ago. No cause of death has been announced.

Legendary drummer, Neil Peart, has died of brain cancer.

I admit...   this is a “celebrity death” that has affected me.  I played percussion in my younger years, and he was a drum god.  Was lucky enough to see Rush in concert 3 times.

When I heard that he was gone,
I felt a shadow cross my heart.

Peart was indeed a drum god.  The best rock musician in Canadian history.
