Toronto's Elias Theodorou passed away from liver cancer this week, at just 34 years old. Theodorou kept his cancer secret, and his death came completely out of the blue.
Best known as an MMA fighter (19 wins-3 losses, including an 8 win-3 loss tenure in UFC), Theodorou was also an actor, a stuntman, a model, a dancer, and a Harlequin Romance cover model! Theodorou also campaigned successfully to relax rules regarding recreational marijuana use for professional athletes.
Kind of like with Chadwick Boseman, it's a shock when somebody so young passes away of natural causes, especially when it's somebody who outwardly looks so strong and healthy.
