I think some of the moralists who complain about how demeaning pornography is to women are the same types who'd prefer a Handmaid's Tale type society.  The Rick Santorums of the world, the ones who believe contraception is the worst thing that ever happened to women.

There was, in the 80s, more of a feminist moralizing tone against pornography.  I think it's not the same today.  Taking it over to a better thread now...
