I don't  believe in celebrities.I find people get caught up in hero worshipping idiots for the wrong reasons.

That said I did note Red Fisher the Montreal Canadiens reporter from the Montreal Star then Gazette died yesterday. He wrote over 70 years. He was the sports writer if you werea Habs fan like I was growing up in Montreal. Him I take note of. They don't make them like that anymore. Growing up in Quebec we had to play by play announcers Rene Lecavaliers (French) and Danny Gallivan (English) and no one can touch them. Then we had as writers Jacques Beauchamps (French) and Red Fisher, English. No one could touch them.

I met Red Fisher. Polite. Serious. There was nothing he did not know about the Habs and hockey. Don Cherry is the final one from that generation.
