No big loss.

OK God. Now do Trump and Tucker Carlson.
Meh. Tucker is irrelevant now and Trump is doing good work destroying the GOP and making it unelectable for the foreseeable future.

Treat Williams.

Motorcycle accident.

Wasn't exactly an A-list actor, although he did have a few award nominations, and appeared in a few critically acclaimed movies (as well as a lot of stright-to-video stuff.)

Favorite movie of his is probably Deep Rising. Have the DVD and everything.

RIP queen.

Sue Johanson, beloved Canadian sex educator, dead at 93

Quote
Sue Johanson, the beloved Canadian broadcaster who in her golden years enraptured a generation with straightforward sex advice, is dead at 93, a representative confirmed to CBC News on Thursday.

Johanson died in a long-term care home in Thornhill, Ont., just north of Toronto, surrounded by her family, the representative said.

The broadcaster was best known for hosting the Canadian call-in radio and then television program Sunday Night Sex Show, which led to a successful U.S. spinoff called Talk Sex With Sue Johanson.

Born in Toronto, Johanson began her career as a nurse, receiving her training in Winnipeg. During the 1970s, she opened a birth control clinic at her daughter Jane's high school and ran it for almost two decades.

Sinead O'Conner died today by suicide. She was 56.

O'Connor's career never recovered from ripping a picture of the Pope up on SNL in 1992.  What is ironic, is she was vindicated decades later after sex scandals nearly destroyed the Church in America and Europe.  O'Connor battled mental health problems for most of her life.  She lost the will to live, after her son committed suicide in early 2022.  She had repeatedly stated that she had no reason to live, and wanted to join him.

RIP.

Estelle Parsons is still alive , but I enjoyed her work as Blanche Hefner on All in the Family.
