I just wanted to express my appreciation for you starting up this forum on a lark. Cheers, man.

If only I could get it to be just a bit more active.  I see there's a huge discussion over on the other site about the Bombardier loans.  Here - not so much.

How about sending invitations by email to join the site. Maybe that will increase activity.

Everyone?  No.  I forgot some people in my initial invitation.  I left some people out intentionally.  Of course, everyone is welcome.  Justice here is swift though, if reasonable.

It was all so different before everything changed.

Me too, jmt, I thank you.  So do all my Facebook friends who were sick of seeing me post political banter after I left the old site.

Discussing politics with people you know is terrible.

It can be ok in person, with just 1 other person. But political posts on Facebook are the worst.

Yeah.  A political post on facebook is not a good way to start a conversation.
