OK - the FLIPP app... for online flyers and coupons... really invaluable...

Use it.

Other household advice: Facebook Marketplace (at least for Toronto)

Earth's Own Oat Milk

If you don't use milk often, buy this stuff.  Often the shelf life is forever and it tastes pretty good.  We have it on hand in case of emergency like somebody wanting it for coffee.

What’s wrong with cream in your coffee?

Why oat milk and not cream from a cow?

I've been soaking oats in soy milk with some honey and fresh fruit and it's a perfect breakfast.  I wonder if oats in oat milk would be overkill.

Grocery lists also belong on a paper pad on the fridge with a magnetic pen beside it.  If you have to rely on finding your phone and tapping things in, plenty is forgotten... unless of course you are retired and have an audi and purposely 'forget' items.

My solid small advice, get a programmable coffee maker.  I feel so primitive that I ever lived without a fresh pot of coffee waiting for me when I wake up.

I will try this.  I don't know how to program the coffee maker now.

Drop an ice cube in a freshly poured coffee so you can drink it immediately.

Or wait 20 of the longest minutes of your life.

The ice cube melts pretty much right away.
