My pecking order for seasons is spring, summer, fall and winter. I love the colours of the fall but the days start to get dark and since I loathe winter, it feels like the beginning of the darkness. Not my thing, but a cool sunny autumn day can be beautiful.
On the bright side, this may be the first winter I enjoy. For the last 10 years I've worked with companies with dec 31 fiscal year end and Christmas holidays are very stressful and January is just brutal. This year I can maybe finally put up the lights early and go out and play carefree in the snow with my kids.
I'll report back on my first non year-end winter.
