Thanks for the advice. I have tried AA. However where I am situated, I lost four friends/acquaintances in a 2 month span in early 2018. I ahve soured on AA since. Now days, the rooms are packed with non-drinkers (AA now accepts anyone with addictions). The room are full of people in treatment centres, and many have problems with hard drugs. It was not always like this, but sadly it is now.
I am trying some meditation and volunteering. I feel if I grow as a person, I can get the confidence to not drink. I am not a full blown alcoholic, but I have a bad habit of drinking too much.
