Overall, in my 13 or so years at MLW, I think Argus is the individual with which I have most ideological kinship.

When we do differ, which is often, it's seldom a matter of big ideological differences, and usually a matter closely aligned individuals bickering over the slightest details. Like how siblings bicker the most, even when they're the closest.

I think the biggest differences between me and Argus is that he says stuff out loud that I am only thinking, and that I aim for tact while he is content with blunt.

Indeed the big secret here is that our values are not that far apart.  When the big controversial issue is whether to restrict immigration somewhat, or make immigrants pledge to follow Canadian values it reveals that we're generally on the same page and that finger-pointing and name-calling is mostly ridiculous.
