A major industrial accident here in Kim City today as a giant crane collapsed. The crane was attached to an under-construction residential tower. It was in the process of being dismantled, and the boom section of the crane fell to the ground. The accident happened around 11am at a busy downtown location, and it was fortunate that it fell in a location where more people weren't underneath. Had the crane been facing a different direction, there might have been dozens of people underneath the boom. As it stands, there are known to be "multiple" fatalities and at least 10 in the hospital with injuries. nearby residents have been evacuated until the remains of the crane can be stabilized.

As with some of the other under-construction residential towers here in the downtown area, the "Brooklyn" will be over four stories tall and feature indoor plumbing and toilets, as well as electricity, typifying the sort of new "big city" style residences that sophisticated Kim City customers are now seeking.
