The evidence of wokeness is in the content they've gravitated towards.

Are you simple?

Quote
Of course you don't have any evidence "wokeness" has anything to do with Netflix's problems.

It's especially funny when you consider some of the content on NF that choads would consider "woke"-the multiracial, female, trans cast in Orange is the New Black, the multiracial period piece Bridgerton, the capitalism critique Squid Game, the climate change analogy Don't Look Up-were all massive hits.

EDIT: **** I forgot that the last time they were in the news cycle it was because a guy they paid a f*ckton of cash said a bunch of transphobic stuff in one of his specials and faced zero real consequences.

But then reality and anti-woke retards like you don't really have much of a relationship these days.

Wait... are we supposed to infer that Netflix is crashing because they are more 'woke' than other channels ?

 ???

It takes a contortionist to get past that pretzel IMO.

The only way to understand it is to gently insert a Q-tip in your ear until you start to feel some resistance and then just ram it in as deep as you can.

I've definitely heard stupid people repeat that mantra.

So all the other media companies are going broke ?

Time Warner and Universal etc. ?

Is one of them less woke ?

The whole "get woke go broke" thing is pure cope from right wingers who are desperate to sit at the cool kids table of pop culture and can't stand that conservative cultural icons are has-beens like Kid Rock and Kevin Sorbo and conservative corporations are sweaty used car salesmen and the guy from Papa John's. It's a constant reminder of their irrelevance and repulsiveness.

Sheesh, you people really need to get a sense of humour.  You're all so serious all the time.  Relax a little, you'll enjoy it.

Why does representing the actual diversity of society offend you so much?

He's not actually offended because he's not capable of mustering any kind of genuine feeling or opinion, never has (. The people who tell him what to think have told him "wokeness" is a problem, so he's just nodding along like a bobblehead on a dashboard.

One of the bad things about political parties is that they make politics into a team sport and people start rooting for their team instead of thinking for themselves.

On Netflix, Anatomy of a Scandal, about a politician who is accused of **** by his mistress.  The way the stories of the accused and the victim are presented was very well done, showing how how closely stories can align and yet the two people have very different experience.  There's more, having to do with social status and privilege, and I highly recommend it.  If you watch, let me know what you thought.
