It's just the beginning.  With all the baby boomers either in their 70s, or approaching it, the celebrity deaths of popular culture icons of the 60s and 70s will accelerate.

Joe Matt. I still have copies of Peepshow in my basement from the early 1990s when Toronto was a hip alternative comics mecca with him and Seth and Chester Brown. It was his collection of 1920s Gasoline Alley strips that were used to create the Walt and Skeezix series by Drawn and Quarterly, which changed my life.
