Thanks, BCC! Things are ok in my area. A community just up the highway had a human-caused fire yesterday, but it was contained pretty quickly. The hardest-hit areas have been to the north and west of here, especially the Williams Lake region.
A few days last week the smoke here was so thick that you could only see a few blocks, but now the air quality is back to normal and it's easy to forget that so much of the province is on fire right now. A lot of evacuees are being accommodated here right now.
Kim City is the central community in the Lost Lake region of BC's interior.

I'm glad you're ok. We got the air warnings down here too now, I couldn't believe it. We're up in the mountains so I haven't personally experienced it but I'll be venturing into the city today I'm curious if I'll notice anything.
Close to 50,000 people now displaced. I feel so bad.
