Some of my best "fun":

Climbing the Great Wall
Kissing the Blarney Stone
"Jack the Ripper" walk through the streets of London at midnight
Going over Niagara Falls in a barrel
Helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon
That Scottish guy in a kilt who kissed me full on the lips at Edinburough Castle (my gawd, he was sexy.....I still have the picture)
Hiking up Mauna Loa with my dad
....

I **** love this planet.  I can't wait to see the next one.

I used to want to do that - jump out of an airplane.

Then I jumped off the Stratosphere in Vegas.  It's not REALLY a jump, more of a "controlled" let-down - you slow down as you reach the bottom.

Glad I did it, but not sure I need to do it again now.

Yeah I took my pilot buddies advice and stay inside planes these days. However another friend who has done a number of jumps told me about the different feeling you get jumping from a helicopter rather than a plane. From the former you are already traveling ~80 mph as you leave whereas from the latter, in a hover, you get to experience the acceleration from zero to free fall speed. Perhaps a future project.

Oh yeah, that would be cool.  :D

The buddy who was flying the Cessna I jumped out of is also a flingwing driver so maybe I'll get in touch and see if he can help me with a lift one more time.

I think my crutches are still somewhere in the basement so I'll hunt them up and then I'm ready to go.

One thing about the skydive, when you get back on the ground again you really appreciate being alive.
Ah, assuming you survive of course.

The ghost of Frank Sinatra is a real douche. Great chops though.

Anybody else have the good fortune to get to go wind surfing in Goa? Now that was fun.
