Kimmy!

I was born in Edmonton, and have lived in many places around Canada, including Victoria, Ottawa, and Vancouver... now I live in Kim City, here in the beautiful Lost Lake region of British Columbia.  I have a job and a home with indoor plumbing! My hobbies include punching things, shooting things, and attempting to play music. I play guitar and bass, very very badly.

Hi kimmy, nice to meet you.   My name isn't quite dia, but close'ish.  I was born in Vancouver, and have lived in various places in BC, but am in Surrey now till I retire to the Okanagan.   I prudently chose a home that was not accessible for drive-by shootings, has a cute little yard and lots of green space around - not bad for a single income earner making something less than 'middle class' earnings.   I have kids, grand-kids and now a great-grandkid, but only because all my descendants had kids way too young.

Hi, I'm John.

I do not actually have a smallc...well, that's why my girlfriend tells me, anyway.
I live in a small town in Manitoba.  I run a business with my family.  I like to travel and plan where I'm going to travel to.  I also like to talk about politics.  Who would have guessed?

Deja vu all over again!

I have no social life nor do I have any ambition to get one.  I am now retired and (seriously!) Living Happily Ever After.  Strong Socialist leanings. Ex-navy, Ex-merchant marine, Ex-Coast Guard, Ex-Union firebrand, Ex-Radio telegraphist (obsolete now), Ex-persuer of XX chromo people. Ex-holder of ambitions.
Nice to be here and I hope something useful for somebody will come of it.

Let's just say I'm a cowboy and bring a rural perspective.  I lean centre right, and from time to time appear and disappear...

Hi, I'm Cy. I grew up in Rose City and moved to Freddy Beach, NB with my wife. I do stats stuff and social science for money. My hobbies include gaming, collecting old-timey razors, and getting banned from political forums on the internet. Nice to meet you all.

I tried out to get to tell airplanes where to go for a living.  I passed all the steps that were put to me, but apparently some others did better, as I didn't get to go any further.  I thought it would be a really interesting and rewarding job.

Hello all.  I'm me, unfortunately I don't share private details because, well, privacy & George Orwell.  I like peanut butter and jam but not on the same sandwich. My views are all over the spectrum, though on average I'd say I'm left-centre. My views on identity politics can sometimes be moderate to conservative. Hopefully the moderators of this forum won't turn into Stephen Harper after a few years.

Hello all:

I was born in Toronto but grew up among the lovely lakes that dot the Muskoka landscape. I'm one of those guys who sits in the front of the plane getting told where to go. I've worked in every province and territory except  PEI and so have learned to admire and appreciate the diverse nature of this country. I can even tell you a Newfie joke with a pretty good bayman accent since prior moving to Vancouver Island I spent a few years perched on the far east side of that easternmost island. Hey if you're going to pack up all your stuff for a move, may as well go a few thousand miles while you're at it. And I prefer the weather here.

Cheers all.

There are a lot of people from BC here.  We might have to build a wall if this keeps up.

I live in Vancouver. Run a small business. Used to be liberal. Got conservative/libertarian as I got older and cynical. Largely because when you don't trust the people making decisions you want them to have a little power as possible.
