Not much people posting on the old site anymore...

I'm still posting on the old site. Why wouldn't I? As long as there is decent conversation. I would actually prefer one site to two. Someone asked me to pm Greg about my concerns with moderation today, so while I don't know how much, if any good it will do, I did so.

My name is John. I'm an alcoholic. But a functioning one, which is why I got knighted after serving 19 years as prime minister.
Sure my party took some cash. So what? We built a railroad, ****. What did you ever accomplish?

There are a lot of people from BC here.  We might have to build a wall if this keeps up.

We already have a wall. It's called the Rocky Mountains. We just need to figure out how to spin it 90 degrees. :D

Born in Vancouver, I grew up, lived and worked in different parts of BC, as well as Edmonton and Toronto with some time in Alaska and Japan. I used to be one of those guys who sits in the front of the airplane getting told where to go.

I was born and raised in Hazelton BC, the highest poverty-stricken town in the province (although my family were one of the lucky ones). The pay is only $100 a week at the general store I work at. I'm half liberal and half political. Go figure!

Born/raised on Vancouver Island.  I have a boat.  I work on the water.  Saltwater runs in my veins.

Saltwater runs in my veins.

When I had cancer I had saltwater running through my veins.

They would flush the picc line with 3 syringes of saline before putting in the chemo.

Ahhhhh, those were the days, those were the days. Good times.

Born in Bradford, England, I emigrated to Canada after spending time at Suffield, AB with the British Army.

Lived in the Lower Mainland for 22 years before escaping to the oil patch 10 years ago.

The space!  The town I grew up in probably had more people in it than Alberta did at the time.

Of course, a week's leave in Vancouver during which I met my wife helped.

One of my favorite vacations when I was young was at Dinosaur Provincial Park, which is not far from Suffield.
