Since when did throwing up your hands and saying you can't do anything become a solution or an excuse? If these platforms can't police themselves, they need to rethink their business model. Facebook, Youtube and these other entities don't have some divine right to exist.
You are not asking them to police themselves, you are asking them to police the general public.
