I'd rather hate the governments that initiated a chain of events that have led to the state of affairs consuming us today. I'd start with Dwight D. Eisenhower's and Winston Churchill's administrations in 1953.
Why start there? Why not start with Hitler, whose genocide necessitated a Jewish exodus from Europe and creation of Israel and inflamed the situation in the middle east? Or start with the fall of the Ottoman Empire? Or before that?
How about we hate people who kill other people for dumb reasons? How about stop hating and raging, and just vehemently disagree with things from now on? Isn't that what civilized adults do?
