I only used work phones for the first 5 or 6 years I had them as I thought the cost was ridiculous. Of course, I loved the iPhone... 6... and 7... and I got addicted so when I had to give up the work phone last year, I went on my own to buy one... and cheap.... Hardner cheap.
My ZTE phone was $100 and works great. Android with all kinds of Google goodness.
