Connor McDavid might be the best hockey player in the world, but Leon Draisaitl has been an absolute caveman for the Oilers so far this season. He's leading the league in goals and points, second in assists (1 behind McDavid and Nugent-Hopkins), leads the league in plus-minus, and leads all forwards in ice-time per game. He is also the Oilers' top faceoff man. McDavid has the insane speed and incredible skill level, but Draisaitl has size and strength and can protect the puck better than almost anybody in hockey. They are like an exotic sports car and a turbo-diesel truck... built for different situations, but both excellent at what they do.
How is your favorite hockey team doing? What has caught your eye so far this season?
