How is it related to hockey culture?  Does it happen more than in regular society?

Hockey Canada tried to cover it up.

You’ve obviously never played the game at any level or interacted with anyone who has.

Hockey Canada tried to cover it up.

Seems to me that an organization taking millions of dollars from youth hockey registration fees and putting them in a secret slush fund dedicated to paying off sex assault survivors is indicative of a culture where sexual assault is widespread.

Hockey culture is super weird, rapey, abusive, hyper-competitive etc.  A lot of hockey coaches and hockey dads are also insane.

Although it's perhaps not a unique culture when you a put a large group of adrenaline-fueled competitive, testosteroney teenage boys in a small room together.

Oh for sure, but IMO the culture is also shaped by the attitudes of those in charge who enable this stuff and who themselves were no doubt steeped in the same toxic brew.

It’s no more prevalent than anywhere else in society.  Don’t let the media manipulate you so easily.

Either you think the rest of society is extremely r@pey and toxic or you're totally ignorant of how bad things are within hockey culture. Which is it?

The data just doesn’t reflect that.  Sorry.  This whole exercise is just another way to crap in hockey and crap on Canada.

What data are you using to make your conclusions?  Any?  Or is it just based on your feelings, as most of your other assertions.

This is a poor deflection. You claimed "the data doesn't reflect that". So I'll ask again: what data are you talking about?
