Canadian Politics Today

I was listening to On Point on NPR today and they had a couple of clips, one from a recent Oscars and one from an episode of a sitcom(Thirty Rock?  Third Rock?) that both referenced Weinstein.  They all knew, and thought it was funny.  Until somebody else didn't.  Now it's outrage all round.  Bloody hypocrites.

The thing is, MacFarlane wasn't joking.  He knew, because his friend Jessica Barth is one of the women who have come forward to accuse Weinstein, and she told MacFarlane about Weinstein when they were working together on "Ted" in 2012.  MacFarlane is one of very few men in Hollywood who've actually said anything about this story.
