You're comparing climate science to astrology.
Of course, anyone who actually read what I said would not say that. It is clear that you are either have no clue what science is and how it works or you are just an ideologue that has no interest in a exploring topics that might undermine your predetermined world view.

The fact that so many AGW zealots are completely unable to have a nuanced discussion of the limits of science is one of the reasons why the climate field does not have a lot credibility. To be credential proponents of a POV must be willing to be honest about the basis for the claims and the uncertainties are intrinsic. The world is not black and white. Trying to turn everything into a question of right or wrong is childish.

Except that "alternative facts" are not facts. The aerial pictures of the inauguration proved that. But I guess if you're a flat earther or a climate change denier, you don't give a rats ass about facts.

Whether she meant to or not, she was basically admitting that "facts" are what the White House says they are and any relationship between the "facts" and the truth is purely coincidental. That's why I say it is about the only honest thing I have heard from her.

Speaking of credibility do you actually think that climate scientists have come to the conclusions as to the validity and causes of global warming by staring at the stars? Sheesh!

I don't know if you happened to catch her interview with Chris Cuomo on CNN but it didn't take much digging from him to get her quite flustered/defensive and I thought he was actually relatively gentle with her considering the multitude of ammunition at his disposal. Maybe the best thing would be for us Canadians to go back down there and burn the friggin' white house down again. :D

From what I see both online and from a few personal contacts it seems to me that the people who like to assume that global warming is simply a conspiracy also buy into many of the other ones going around: Obama wasn't born in the US, George Bush brought down the Twin Towers, nobody was shot in Orlando, the Illuminati, Aliens are contacting us, the moon landing was faked, and on and on. Is that because their lives are boring or is paranoia something that exists in DNA and so they can't help it? Lets hope they remain a minority.

A human brain has about 100 billion neurons.    A honey bee brain has less than one million neurons. And yet, tiny bee brains can perform some surprisingly complicated tasks. Researchers are studying bees and their unexpectedly high capacity for learning, in hopes of figuring out how they do it.   They suggest that if we understood how bees are able to learn tasks in spite of such limited mental resources, perhaps we could build more efficient computers, perhaps new ways of processing data.

And if bees can be taught arithmetic, perhaps their is hope for Alex Jones listeners.
