Srsly tho, I injest a lot of protein and calories because I am very active.  For about 10 years I've done physical labor and I carry more muscle than most women. But as I transition into a role where I am at a desk most of the time I won't burn as many calories as I do, so I will have to cut back. I am actually pretty concerned about this, because I know my body will still crave all those calories, even when I don't need them. If I don't manage my intake I'll balloon.

What's worse is when you hit that 'change of life' time, your metabolism begins to imitate a hibernating bear and eating anything but celery results in weight gain.
