I used to enjoy the Tapas bar that was part of the hotel I used to frequent on my way through Madrid. Various meats that were dried, smoked, salted etc., hung on hoists over the bar. You could ask for a specific or just request a mix and the barkeep would lower a few, carve them up, add some salsa and you had a great little snack in front of you with a fresh cerveca as the remaining chunks were re lofted.
