When I read about the first protest, where Mr Hunter sat down and carved a deer leg in the front window while the horrified protesters watched, I was sitting at the bar at a similar small locally-owned restaurant with the chef carving raw meat close by.  I mentioned it and he said he'd already read the story and got a laugh out of it.

I understand that there are ethical and environmental arguments against eating meat.  After watching happy cow videos on the internet, I often have second thoughts about eating meat myself.    However, I think Marni Ugar and her friends should, you know, **** off.  They're making fools of themselves and making vegans as a group look bad.
