I really like documentaries, but didn't think it fit too well with either Netflix or TV, but maybe a new thread would encourage sharing of good documentaries. I have a subscription to Curiosity Stream, which I am really enjoying. In case you aren't familiar with this service, it's strictly documentaries on a variety of topics, although none are of the 'sensational' type, like Intervention or Hoarders. I also like The Passionate Eye documentaries, and the new one on CBC recently called Interrupt This Program.
Anyone, I wanted to share about one I watched yesterday on Curiosity Stream called "Predict My Life", which is about the findings of a research project following 1037 people from their birth in 1972 onward. This research has helped scientists understand more about how nature and nurture interact, how early a 'criminal' can be predicted, or how/when a schizophrenic can be identified, among other things. If anyone is interested in what can influence or motivate a person's behavior, this program is well worth finding and watching.
