Using the term 'you people' about immigrants is 'all racist' only to the progressives, for whom almost any term other than open adulation towards minority and identity groups is outrageous racism or sexism or some kind of 'phobia'.

This is such whiny bullshit. Surveys of academia since the 1950s have consistently shown liberals outnumbering conservatives in higher ed. The obvious explanation is self-selection:conservatives go into business or the vast and lucrative right wing think tank industry, they don't get PhDs and try to make five figures toiling in the academy.

Surveys have shown the numbers shifting and the discrepancy growing enormously to the point there are almost no conservatives left. Those who are left and who are questions all say they feel intimidated to repress their views. Nearly half of university professors would refuse to hire someone if they were coneservative.
