Hockey is a white supremacist sport, like golf and tennis and Nascar and swimming and horse jumping.  I don't watch those sports.

Hes only 33, Im not sure why he wouldnt take a minimum 1 year contract and play for a contender.

Because injuries have made him less than an NHLer, and now he can start a new career with ESPN and Sportsnet bidding on him as a broadcaster.

I didnt hear anything about injuries.  I think hed be perfect as a bottom pair defeceman, getting about 10 minutes a game.  He could be very effective.

Hes been one of the worst d-men in the league for the last three years, hes just done. Good for him for recognizing the end of the line and hell probably make more money as a TV analyst.

Fun fact about Zdeno Chara: with his retirement there are now no active NHL players who have been on a team that has lost a playoff series to the Leafs.
