A legacy of Spies.  John le Carre.

Resurrects ghosts from the Spy Who Came in from the Cold.

le Carre has no equal when it comes to this genre.

As I posted on "a certain other website", I am reading Shogun by James Clavell. It's a little hard to follow at times what with the labyrinth of intrigue in Japanese feudal politics, but still a great read. I am about 3/5 of the way through it.

Have any of you read "The First Man in Rome" by Colleen McCullough, by the way?
