-Retweeted a True North quote on 'Cuties' that plays to the QAnon set in Canada

There's lots of people who aren't Q-anon kooks who aren't impressed with "Cuties" too.   You don't have to believe in a child-eating cult to be grossed out at a movie about a group of 11-year olds twerking and gyrating like strippers.  I read several left-wing feminists who are completely livid over this.

Some say the film is making social commentary about sexualization of pre-adolescent girls... but that strikes me as being similar to the argument that Quentin Tarrantino is making commentary about glamorizing violence in entertainment.  Commenting on glamorization of violence in entertainment by glamorizing violence in entertainment?

I haven't seen it, and I can't comment on the movie's merit.  Most of the people complaining haven't watched it... it was the Netflix poster that touched off the controversy, and I think criticism of the poster is absolutely warranted. Netflix has apologized for the poster and changed it back to the original poster the film used when it was at Sundance.

Netflix poster (left) vs original poster (right).
