Can someone explain the Dellen Millard thing to me?
« on: December 17, 2017, 04:17:55 pm »
Because I just don't get it. And neither of the trials really explained it.

Everything which happened in both murders seems inexplicable to me and without motivation. A rich guy murdering someone for a pickup truck? Seriously? The thing with murdering his ex girlfriend was even less understandable, as is the shallow, pathetic thoughts of everyone involved, including the present girlfriend and his moron sidekick.

"Yeah, my girlfriend is pissed at this girl I dated last year so wanna help me kill her?"
"Sure!"

What makes people this lacking in empathy and thought? I get that there are failed humans like this, but how do they find each other? Surely they are rarer than that? What does this say about our society or our species? How do people who are such incredible losers even function in a civilized society? How are they not more obvious?

We produce rejects sometimes.  Not a big deal to me, but people get upset about crime.

Sometimes people are never told "no" when they are growing up.

Of course, that might have nothing to do with anything.

Doesn't everyone get upset at murder?

Yes, we produce rejects, but this seems like a passel of rejects and their motivation seems unfathomable.

I don't feel that I do generally.  I think there's a system in place to deal with it, and I don't need to express my opinion on any case, or know the details to make it work.  For me to get interested is really another version of entertainment.

The justice system is something e.se

Lock 'em up then.
