Attraction Culture
« on: June 30, 2021, 10:52:23 am »
What "vibe" do you give off ?  Do you know ?  What kinds of people are attracted to it ?

I'll go first: Mr. Rogers but way more hetero.  Deep voice, but "youngish" intonation.  Neutral clothing, 2% slobby but clearly taken care of by a woman.  I look people in the eyes when I talk to them and listen deeply.

What kinds of people are attracted to it: Women with natural humanism close to the service.  Young women without good fathers, or with good older brothers.  Gay men who liked Mr. Brady on The Brady Bunch.

Easy is straight.  I have no doubt.  Well, he's "pan" at best.  We had friends over, and the lady friend was very hot... shorts, makeup, painted toes, lashes, lips... VERY girly.

Easy was paying attention to her at a high level.  When he peed in the potty, he carried the bowl over to her, to show her and show off.  Why didn't I think of that ?

What "vibe" do you give off ?  Do you know ?

During the summer, my look is all about protecting my fair skin from the blazing Kim City sun.  Long, loose-fitting linen shirts and slacks. Wide-brim hats. Silk scarf. Aviators. Covid mask. I think my vibe is basically Cuban bee-keeper chic.

What kinds of people are attracted to it ?

I went to one of my favorite local watering holes, the Kim City Roadkill Bar and Grill, after work tonight to watch the hockey game and attempt to flirt with sexy bartenders.

Some middle aged drunk guy with a horseshoe moustache came over and sat down with me and decided he was my new best friend. It was extremely unpleasant.  He was very loud and very dumb. I didn't want to cause a scene, but was sorely tempted to tell him to **** off, or to put my right fist under his left ear and give him a nice nap to sleep it off.

After about 15 minutes-- it seemed much longer-- of this Heironymus Bosch style torment, the manager showed up and sat down nearby with a couple of friends.  I told Horseshoe Moustache guy "oh! My friends are here!" and went over and sat with them.  The manager is a 350 pound guy who looks like a Hell's Angel wearing a suit, so he's pretty intimidating.  And I go there often enough that he is at least casually friendly with me and recognized the problem.  And Horseshoe Moustache Guy didn't follow me. So that turned out ok.

With my conventional good looks and the formidable kimmables, I attract men who are attracted to women who have attributes that appeal to the superficial man. I also attract the attention of women who are interested in women or at least curious. I think I have managed to nail a vibe that manages to retain some semblance of classical feminine while blending in androgynous signals and off-beat cues to say "heyyyyy" to women who are interested in other women.

I'm also part of the class of people who'd be considered "obese" if you went by Body Mass Index but classified as "athlete" if you go by body fat percentage.  Meaning I have at least 20 pounds of muscle that most women don't have.  A decade spent working at physical labor for 40 hours a week, plus a lifetime of athletic endeavors and an ongoing obsession with strength and cardio training, has given me the kind of physique that similarly inclined people notice.  In a town full of gym rats of both sexes, that's quite a few people. So I have that going on as well.

Well there you are.  You sound very attractive.

I am 5'11" 215 lbs.  I like to keep my hair shortish, with a bit of length on top.  What kind of hair people have interests me.  My hair is thick and my one vanity.

Unfortunately, during Covid it amassed a great volume and I now look uncannily like this...

I like you kimmy but you're definitely a bit of a narcissist.

Stay humble.

So basically MH is Ned Flanders without the religious bent, and Kimmy is Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones with Mariah Carey self-image.

That's ridiculous.  I'm as modest as I am stunning.

So basically MH is Ned Flanders without the religious bent, and Kimmy is Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones with Mariah Carey self-image.

She's about a foot taller than me, and I have much better hair. Aside from that, not bad.

and Kimmy is Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones

I think my Game Of Thrones attraction vibe would be "Sansa Stark in the throneroom, Yara Greyjoy in the bedchambers."

But if your love-life is more "Theon Greyjoy" than "Yara Greyjoy", perhaps this will help!  Handy advice for flirting:

Must be nice to have hair on your head, I'd forgotten.
