Give me a break. It is too early for the investigators to say anything and the desperation by people like you to conclude that arson was not the cause is as bad as people insisting that it was was the cause.

I didn't "conclude" anything. I'm going by what the investigators and police in Paris are reporting. However the desperation of people like you are showing up trying to blame...who else but Muslims of course.

Arsonists don't usually climb way up to the roof of a building in the middle of the day with workers and hundreds of people around and manage to get away without anyone seeing them, leaving the site looking like it was an electrical fire.

Perhaps it was the same team who installed all the explosives in the Twin Towers to bring them down on 9-11. ;)

Except it wasn't in the middle of day. It started after all workers had left and disconnected all electricity (as per procedure). The investigators are saying now it is either electrical or arson because there is no other source of energy that could have started it. Obviously we can't say anything until they complete their work but it is just wrong to assume that it must be accidental at this point.

And how do you know they disconnected all electricity? Did they shut all the lights out in the cathedral do ya think?

The fire started at about 6 pm. At that time of day, there would be hundreds of people, all of them with cell phone cameras out taking videos and pictures. There are people everywhere in the middle of that city, and particularly so around the tourist sites. If someone lit it up, there are lots of pictures of him. Not centrally controlled pictures either that the Government will ensure you can't see. Pictures on the cloud and on Instagram and Facebook and everywhere else. You literally can't make a move around those spots without getting in someone's shot. It's overwhelming and constant.
The Eiffel Tower was the worst.

blah blah blah. Why is everything always "Trump" with you?

Ultimately, the cathedral will be rebuilt, and nobody died.  The Catholic Church can contribute some of its incalculable wealth to return everything as good as new.

Did Trump say anything about the fire? I am picturing something like:

"Notre Dame was very old, very run down, football team not winning! Can be rebuilt biglier and better! Gold spires and better materials! First class all the way!"

"Sending Ivanka to supervise reconstruction! Let's make it new Trump Notre Dame Casino, very high class, very modern! Will bring people to Paris from all over the world!"

How do you rebuild something that is remarkable because it's over 800 years old?

You like funny videos it seems, Stephen Colbert addresses the issue in this one.

fer sure! In his 'first-responder-in-chief' best... somehow forgetting about what huge amounts of water dropped from height would actually do to the contents... let alone the structure itself. What a maroon, what a rube!

It's hilarious that no matter what the question is, he believes he has the answer.
