This week an incredibly obvious parody Twitter account claimed trans people wanted Aretha Franklin's "Natural Woman" banned and right wing media outlets fell over themselves to report the "story" with not a single one attempting to contact the account in question.

Look at this murder's row of garbage:

If you're a person who reads any of these sources and those like them (like the Toronto Sun) do the world a favour and ram a Robertson screwdriver through your skull.

You're really telling on yourself here.

Also it's one thing for a dope like you to be fooled by TransMarxistFurry69 on Twitter, another thing when "news" sources are.

I was trying to remember what I had said about Paw Patrol that has clearly offended you since you bring it up and went back and found it came up in context of you crying about a story where a woman had her kid stop watching The Wiggles because they weren't diverse how that was super racist against honkies. Weird how you remember one throwaway line about Paw Patrol but not your own posts.

If you don't let your kid watch wiggles because it has 4 white dudes yeah you're a racist.  That's not even debatable (but you'll try).  I know you hate your own skin colour and don't see that but doesn't change anything.

I mean, we've reached a point where it's hard to tell the difference between something that Titania McGrath wrote and something that a real university Diversity/Inclusion/Equity department wrote.

That said, I can't believe nobody has posted in this thread about the Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon 50th Anniversary "controversy".  If you want to illustrate how ridiculous the "anti-woke" movement can be, that's your money shot right there.

I've heard that a lot of parents banned "Caillou" because it makes them want to commit homicide.

I have arrived at a framework wherein I can tolerate intolerance under the umbrella of tolerance.

I was going to explain what that meant, but I should pause for people to make fun of me here.

And by "people" I mean all of you.

Again: it's one thing for someone like you to see something fake in the wild and believe it because it validates your prejudices, another for major mainstream media sources to run stories about it without any kind of fact check so that people like you can see it and validate your prejudices.

Also: we're constantly being told by chumps from Elon Musk to our own resident Shithead that wokeness is a threat to our society and way of life, but like 90% (and I'm being generous here) of these things are low stakes anecdotes about cartoon characters or something some cringe Zoomer posted on TikTok. Even your own fictional example of "something that a real university Diversity/Inclusion/Equity department wrote" would absolutely no impact on anyone at all, but all y'all cannot shut the f(ck up about them! It doesn't matter, who cares, go outside etc etc! It's such an obvious distraction from the abject failure of society to improve the material conditions of many of the people who are a part of it.
