There’s nothing wrong with making consumer choices that align with your values.
There’s a BBQ joint in my town I was going to try until I found out they are big freedumb convoy people. I don’t want to give those folks my money.
Of course there's nothing wrong with boycotts. And there's nothing wrong with people complaining about crazy trans folks like Jessica Yaniv in the media either.
But when these things crowd out other public social mechanics, it's a negative on the macro level.
It would be far better for us to have public conversations around morality, and moral policy, then to debate these things via Nike commercials and pictures of Rosa Parks on Pepsi cans.
It would be better for us to discuss trans policy in a public forum where wackos like Jessica or not mentioned.
