You have zero basis to suspect anything about his motives. You project your own political biases. It's interesting you don't suspect the timing of it coincides for a demand by him to pay him more.

UPDATE:

The landlord evicted the cafe owners.  The cafe is not open, and will likely never open again.

Sadly, a real Antisemitic incident occurred in the United States. A 19 year old with an AR-15 went into a synagogue in California, and shot it up.  At least one person was killed.
