Where's Cape Perry? (assuming of course it's somewhere in Canada)
70.2000° N, 124.5833° W
You might also want to check out Cape Helca (82°53'00.0"N 64°40'00.0"W) on Ellesmere island near Alert. It has an alternate name as Cape Perry.
Ever been to Cape Parry in January?
What ? Have you ?
You mean Hecla I presume. Never been there. My place was an old DEW site updated to a NWS but the kitchen in the place allowed me to look like I knew how to cook, which I did while the techy's did the maintenance on the diesels and electronics to keep an "eye" on those pesky Ruskies.
NWS? I heard of DEW but not NWS. What's it mean?
A number of times actually. I always pick the best time of the year to visit such places.
Where'd you stay ? La Quinta Inn ?
Well it wasn't what you would call the lap of luxury, but I had a big screen TV and more channels that I had at home those days.
Um... Well, ok, what can I say to that ?[/quotOnly one place to stay up there and that's the old DEW line site. Looks homey eh?http://lswilson.dewlineadventures.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/cropped-cam-2.jpg
