Lately, we have endeavoured to reduce the clutter in our fridge, freezer and cupboards.

Too much stuff we never use, taking up space.

So we are moving to buying things that we expect to use soon-ish, with some exceptions for emergency food and staples we want to have on hand.  My in-laws are the epitome of the opposite - their fridge is packed with old half-eaten garbage and you can't fit a can of pop in there if you want to chill it.

Use long scissors to cut pizza.  They work best.

Work hard and show interest...sounded simple enough when I was 17. Taking an interest in splicing, net-mending and handling boats has certainly kept me employed and the pay's been decent.

I'm paying now for working hard though... bent back,  spent knees, gnarled achey hands.

Take it with a grain of salt?

Decades of hard work definitely destroys the joints.

I advise never working hard on anything you don't feel like working on. Oh, and inheriting enough to live on for the rest of your life in your late 20s.
