The kimmo reminds the waldo that the degree of punishment that SNC deserved was never the real scandal here, rather the PMO's unethical efforts to interfere in public prosecution to get a politically advantageous result. Trying to justify the PMO's actions in terms of the eventual plea deal SNC accepted is just more of your galloping-goalposts shenanigans, and not many here are dumb enough to fall for that stuff.

You really want to hang your ethics hat on that failed Dion ruling/report... notwithstanding your zeal in accepting St. Jody's "truth"... while ignoring the real lapses in ethics from JWR! I'm shocked you want to ignore the plea bargain result and how its, effectively, less impacting than what a DPA could have realized. Let's not forget to emphasize that as a part of the plea bargain agreement, SNC-L will not be prevented from contract bidding... you know, supposedly the big carrot a DPA was presumed to secure!
