So you want to handwave an obvious ethics violation, but Faith Goldy is what will sink Scheer?!??!?!

What I really, really appreciate is that JWR knowingly risked her job as AG/MoJ, and ultimately her job as Liberal Party member, and possibly even her career as MP, in order to remain ethical, under tremendous pressure from the most powerful people in the country.  How many politicians would risk their jobs to remain ethical? Extremely few.  The fact that politicians lie all the time and do all the sleezy things they do in order to get re-elected is proof of that. 

If you valued our democracy, you would never lie to the public to save your job.  Trudeau clearly cares more about his job than our democracy, as do all the Liberal MP's that stood behind JT as she was expelled from the Liberal caucus.  They're all as guilty as he is if this is how whistleblowers are treated.

She's a true patriot, I don't care if some still disagree.

She did a poor job as justice minister and accomplished very little. In such a situation the PM has the right to remove someone they have previously appointed.

Omni, and JMT for that matter, if you still want to vote for the Liberals and/or still think they're less **** than Scheer, that's fine do what you like, but please don't keep peddling this bullshit narrative of why she was removed and keep defending the guy.  He's a lying piece of **** and a bully.

MP's should force JT to resign, make JWR their leader, that's the Liberal's best chance at re-election IMO. Seems too late for that since much of the party turned their backs on her.  Same old Liberals.

I voted for the Liberals last election.  I thought maybe by now they had changed.  I was wrong.  But Harper needed to go, & I gave them a chance.

Looks like we're playing musical chairs of corruption when it comes to these office holders.  I guess that's just the way the system goes. I don't expect Scheer or the others would be any different.
