COVID restrictions kept a lot of kids from dying but some of them had bad school experiences so it's impossible to tell if they are good or not.

No they didn’t keep a lot of kids from dying. The flu has a higher mortality rate for children than covid. Children that are immune compromised or high risk could have done remote learning while everyone else went to school. Everyone recognizes keep schools closed was wrong.
