They banned Hauwei/ZTE equipment on 5G networks, i think that means infrastructure, I don't think they banned their devices.

I actually i could be wrong, their devices could be banned from 5g networks.

I don't know of anyone who has banned their devices.

and this has what to do with your fervour over Chinese police stations? Yeesh!

the timing for Canada's ban of Huawei & ZTE was influenced by 2 key factors:

=> recognizing the prevailing market reality and expectations of an eventual ban, Canadian telco's self-imposed internal company decisions to exclude Huawei/ZTE from 'in development' 5G network development - there was no technological driver influencing the timing of the Canadian federal government's ban on Huawei/ZTE!

=> the Canadian federal government had to cautiously consider how bilateral relations with China were influenced by the arrest of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou and how the extradition process to the U.S. impacted upon the successful release of the '2 Michael's (Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor)' held under detention by China... in response to the Canadian arrest of Meng Wanzhou (as requested by the U.S.).

We didn't ban Huawei until eight months after the Micheals were released, it should have been done the minute their plane touched down in Canada. Australia banned Huawei before Meng was detained.

I think the ban says companies have until 2024 to get rid of any equipment.  But that sounds more like infrastructure.  So i have no idea.

Canada lost 40,000 jobs in August. https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/canada-jobs-august-1.6577100

Quote
The job losses were enough to push up the jobless rate for the first time in seven months. In June, Canada's unemployment rate fell to 4.9 per cent, its lowest level on record. It stayed flat in July, but has now jumped up by half a percentage point from that record low level.
...
Most of the job losses came from two sectors: 28,000 in construction, and almost 50,000 gone in education.

Education jobs typically decline during the summer normally, which is one of the reasons why Scotiabank economist Derek Holt isn't inclined to worry too much about that drop.

"Where did all the teachers go? Possibly nowhere — other than back to school — as it may just be a data distortion that likely has something to do with messy contract negotiations and the staggered expiration of teacher contracts across the country," he said.

still maintaining historic lower unemployment rates (unemployment rate rose by 0.5 percentage points to 5.4%... slightly up from the record low 4.9% rate) & still strong wage growth overall.

No strong wage growth, especially when inflation is accounted for.  Nice skin though, I hope the Liberal Party is paying you well.

Apparently Wonder Boy is ready to raise taxes, with a looming recession and high inflation.  It’s almost like he hates Canadians.

Apparently you have no source for your information? How come you demand citations of others but are unable to provide them yourself?

But you’re the one that always has his d**k in your mouth.  He says you swallow.  No real surprise, beta all the way.

You barely ever post citations.  Look in the mirror.
